This home in Studio City was a dream project. Our client wanted to set the stage for her home makeover with rich jewel tones. The main living space was a very long rectangular room with a fireplace running lengthwise. This gave us an opportunity to break up the long room with a cased opening to provide her with a proper foyer while not closing off the space entirely.

 

We kept the overall feel of the Spanish home light and ethereal while incorporating jewel tones as accents in the rugs, marble, wallpaper, cabinetry, and fabrics throughout. We mixed in iconic pieces such as a Mario Bellini sofa and some Louis Ghost chairs in gold mohair while adding vintage vineyard tables, gorgeous tufted leather stools, and a French Neoclassical chest for layers of warmth and an individual touch.
